Day One: UAW Strikers Block Kohler Plant Entrances

Following rejection of the Kohlers “last, best, and final offer,” members of the United Auto Workers went out on strike on Monday “with huge crowds of employees and their supporters marching outside company headquarters,” according to SheboyganPress.com.

The march created considerable traffic congestion that extended into neighboring Sheboygan and Sheboygan Falls, while picketers reportedly delayed non-union employees from accessing the campus as the work day began by stopping cars and checking ID badges to track whether any union members went to work.
