[VIDEO] UAW Officials Get Physical with WSWS Reporters During Press Conference

On Wednesday, when UAW Vice President Jimmy Settles held a press conference to discuss the Ford-UAW tentaive contract, WSWS Autoworker Newsletter editor Jerry White—whose article are often critical of the UAW—attempted to attend the presser.
However, upon arrival at UAW Local 600 in Dearborn, Michigan, White was barred from entering the press conference.
When he asked why other reporters were allowed in, he was not given an answer and, as is shown in the video below, a number of other UAW officials approached, then physically took the camera phone from the reporter videotaping the incident.
