Here's The Boeing Brochure That Has The Machinists' Union Crying Foul

The 20-page brochure is being mailed to BoeingSC employees’ homes and provides some of the details around what the company calls “card fraud” at Delta Air Lines.

The Machinists’ union—which is in the midst of a multi-year campaign to unionize Boeing’s more than 3,500 employees in North Charleston, SC—is “crying foul” over a brochure that Boeing SC is mailing to its employees, according to Charleston’s Post and Courier.
The 20-page brochure, which has been posted on the company’s website and linked to on its Facebook page, is being mailed to BoeingSC employees’ homes and provides some of the details around what the company calls “card fraud” at Delta Air Lines.

“The National Mediation Board has not identified any source of questionable cards, nor has it made any finding regarding misuse of personal information,” IAM spokesman Frank Larkin is quoted as saying. “It is irresponsible to suggest otherwise.”
However, BoeingSC spokesman Rob Gross begs to differ, stating that the union’s “history and how they have conducted themselves is relevant.”
“Our teammates and their families deserve to know the facts about the Machinists union that is actively campaigning to represent our teammates and currently asking them to sign union authorization cards,” Gross said. “We will continue to share facts with our teammates throughout this process and let those facts speak for themselves.”
