Happy New Year? New York's Minimum Wage To Go Up Jan. 1st [VIDEO]

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s experiment in defying market forces is about to come to fruition on Friday, January 1st, when 200,000 New Yorkers employed in the fast-food industry see their wages increase.

Fast food employees working in New York City will see the minimum wage increase to $10.50 an hour. Upstate New Yorkers will make $9.75 an hour.
